ROMANS:
ROMAN INVASION OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA
218 B. C.

Romans invated Spain around 218 B.C. The city of León, nearby to where our factory is located, was founded as a winter camp for the Roman legion Regio VII Gemina Pia Felix.

Legions doctors provided important medical knowledge and health care based on natural remedies. Heirs of Greek culture and medicine, Romans united the best of both worlds; their knowledge was put into practice in León.

Plinio el Viejo wrote 9 volumes about the medicinal virtues of plants; this reference book has been used for centuries.
