Organic products are healthier as they do not contain toxic residues which can cause damage to our bodies. These kinds of residues can come from pesticides, antibiotics, synthetic fertilizers, additives and preservatives, many of which are used in conventional agriculture to kill insects or plagues and fight plant diseases.

The sustainable agriculture implemented by Bio3 fertilizes the soil and slows down land desertification as it increases water retention and does not contaminate aquifers. It promotes biodiversity as well as the support of habitat conservation and uses natural resources in an optimal way.

INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION
All components involved in Bio3 are subject to the control and inspection of the entire production process: raw materials, manufacturing process, packaging, labeling etc, performed by certified inspection.
ECOLOGY AS FOUNDATION OF OUR PRODUCTS:
Bio3 has set up a demanding production process in order to offer its customers the best medicinal plants.
All plants used by Bio 3 come from organic crops which have been directly supervised and controlled by company technicians. These work closely with local farmers with which we have set long term collaboration agreements in order to control that the crops fulfill the necessary requirements to be considered organic production plants. In this sense, we treat the plants only with organic fertilizers; we do not use chemical fertilizers, we do not spray pesticides, and our plants are not genetically engineered. Shortly, we have established a strict protocol to ensure that the plants have the aroma and therapeutic properties we look for.
Bio3 technicians analyze and select from certain areas of various countries those plant varieties which have a high content of active ingredients and therefore can grant a greater efficiency to their preparations. These plants are controlled as strictly as those grown in the area.
After harvesting, those plants which fulfill the company’s quality standard undergo a rigorous treatment. The plants are introduced in a high-vacuum chamber with atmospheric control and regulated temperature. With this processing we prevent the contamination and the loss of volatile medicinal components.

Later on, the medicinal plants are packed by fully automated packaging equipment, controlled by computer, ensuring the entire process of dosing and vacuum packaging. To guarantee this high quality standard a significant investment in state-of-the-art technology has been made over the last five years.
The whole process is done organically; no chemical ingredients are used at any time. We can therefore guarantee that all our products are free from artificial coloring, flavoring, additives or synthetic aromas.
Our organic plants achieve the highest quality standards and are submitted to a production system with the highest reliability, which traces the plants from the field to the table (European Regulation 2092/91). Today, many of our products have an organic certification.
